175 New Jobs in Abbott

175 NEW JOBS IN ABBOTT A MASSIVE BOOST FOR SLIGO

Labour Senator Susan O’Keeffe has welcomed the announcement by Abbott to invest €85 million in the expansion of its Sligo pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The investment will create 175 new jobs.

The investment will result in the creation of up to approximately 175 highly skilled jobs.  The expansion of the facility will be completed in 2014. The investment is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland. In addition to the 175 jobs, 150 temporary jobs will also be created in the construction phase."
